Is there going to be a Wednesday night GTG? 9/17

Since so many are going to Hallett - is the Wednesday night GTG on for tomorrow and will it be at Fillmores? I was also curious if enough pro's would be out there to sign tech forms...the parking lot is pretty well lit next to Fillmores. Novice here, so guess I'm a little concerned. I know it was posted in Open Track - but wondered if this was a possibility.

Nails has been working hard helping B R and also getting our cars ready. This is our first time and we are both really excited about it. Nails went on the LoneStar "spirited" drive and he came back with a big smile on his face - is the first time he's done a drive with the few mods he's done...and he is pleased.

I'll just be happy if nobody runs in to me. My dad keeps saying I'm going to wreck my car and I keep telling him to quit saying that...pfffft.

I should put a big sign across the back of my car that says

"student driver"

because that's how he's making me feel...

Anyway - I'd be up for a social before heading out to Hallett - so if anyone else is interested in an Eastside GTG tomorrow night and maybe do a tech check - chime in here...it's been a few days since I've been able to relax.

A beer or three would be nice tomorrow night. I should be done with all I'm going to do to the car by then.

I'm hoping to make it this week....
in the spirit of the fantastic weather the n00b votes for a place with outdoor seating/ outdoors.... kellers is what pops to mind first...

Keller's on East NW Hwy? Sounds good to me... I'm down for whatever.

Either spot is ok with me but I think the NW Hwy and Abrams is the one I prefer.

I think y'all are talking about the same location.

Uh, donde esta es Kellers? I've been Googling it but I get everything from realestate to dairy products, and no resturants. Got a link?

It's on Northwest Highway just east of Abrams, on the north side of the road. Across from Pep Boys and what used to be a Shakey's Pizza. Big neon sign - can't miss it. ;)

I kept googling combinations of Keller's, resturant, and DFW, and kept getting lists of resturants in Keller. Stupid Google

If town North gets my new Coil packs in today and I can change them and not have my car threaten to Blow up on me I will probably be there

Kellers - Cool, I'll be there early for a #5 special.

Unless you want to sit in your car - or stand around - you should bring a folding chair for your comfort!! At one point there was a picnic table there, but it always seemed to be in use.

It's a straight shot down either 75 or the Tollway, then go east on NW Hwy for a little bit - just past Abrams, on the left. :cat:

Wow...that is a bit far for me. I was hoping to make it, but not in N. Dallas. What happened to the meet in D-town FTW?

Forgot to mention but I think Keller's is cash only no credit but prices are very cheap.
