I'm game if it lands on a weekend.
Will this place let you snoop around or are they a pull their own parts and inventory it then charge slightly below retail place?
What do I need?
An interior fuse cover, some A/C knobs, a radio cubby, a boot cover, a NB cloth top with glass rear window, a 96-97 radio bezel to fit my new DIN radio and a black hazard button.
Also interested in a rear skirt, small style rear mud flaps, 93LE Speaker Grills (I can dream!) a 99-00 head and a 1.8 Valve Cover...
The list is never ending at that's just stock parts!
They will let you snoop around and pull what you want. If you're going to pull any 'big ticket' items, be sure and settle on a price first! Trust me. :roll:Quote:

I reminded him about our phone conversation and he then said he would take $25 for all of them. I pulled out the Fantastic Plastic and he wasn't interested. Too much trouble to report income and all. I had $18 cash and he took it. :DQuote:

Ah... reminds me of my youth... I used to scavenge the salvage yards off Elliot Reader back in the day. Little John's was my favorite.
They stack the cars three high and I thought nothing of climbing all over them. They could have tipped at any moment though. No EPA concerns either. Puddles of black oil and green coolant everywhere.
I found a PERFECT dash for my 1974 Capri there. Not a single split. Hard to find too. The car was on the bottom, in the corner, behind some tall weeds. Hell, knowing Little John's it may still be there!
JC's was also a fun place but the guy (JC?) was mean! lol Had some mean ole junkyard dogs too.
It's not a junkyard if there isn't a junkyard dog...
Hey DT, what size stereo did you have in that you need the 96/97 unit? I'm looking at getting my friends double din Mach 460 6disc in dash unit, maybe we can trade if your's will work.
I bought a Sony CDX-MP70 and it seems the pointies think I need a 96-97 DIN sized bezel to make it fit flush. Dunno since I haven't tried to install it yet.Quote:

I'm definitely in... depending on the day (must be a weekend day for me to make it)
They take my plastic even for the little stuff. Then again, I've spent more than my fair share there.
Cash does get you the best deals though, unless you buy like I do :(
Things they don't have are any M2's. They also reduced their M1 inventory (they had ~25 when I was there a few months ago, now they have 8 really stripped down ones as of 2 weeks ago). My 94 was sent off to the ultimate death and is no longer there :(
Anything coming from an M-edition or the LE, be prepared to spend an arm and a leg on. John, the owner, was clueless as to pricing until somebody started tipping him off as to how much certain parts can bring (at least on eBay to desperate buyers). Not me, that's for sure. Just an example, I asked about my 94's torsen, driveshaft and half-shafts. I could have walked out the door with them, for "only" $900 (a few months earlier, I could have bought it all at $400).... He was making his money from purchasing the car just by selling at that price.
I would like to go if its on a Sunday.
