Engine Knock?

just fired up my engine a while ago and made a quick video. There is some exhaust leaking from the header and the rings aren't seated yet in the pistons so that explains the smoke coming out of the muffler tip.

I reved just to check if oil pressure was good but there is a knocking sound coming from the intake manifold area...

i'm hoping its the timing (cas adjustment) so i can get her running tomorrow.
If its not the timing, what could cause it to knock?

Sounds like a stuck lifter in the video... but the music is very distracting.

Are you getting oil pressure and oil to the top of the engine? Is there something blocking the passageways?

Fix the dang exhaust leak and you'll have an easier time figuring out the rest of the noises.

:confused: Could be the valve train, but I can't really tell with the Exhaust leaking, as said before, get it fixed then see if it's still there.
