HELP! PS3 offline Co-op game

Well, roomie owns a ps3. We loved playing Resistance fall of man, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, and Army of Two. Just the two of us, playing together chilling. Kinda like the old days before online gameplay.

Jump to this weekend-- we forked up $60 and bought Resistance Fall of Man 2. It had gotten good reviews, looked good, and was listed as co-op.

There isn't a good offline mode. The first version had a play through the game co-op mode. The new one, you play random maps, and only the 1st players stats save. we gave it a go. Played again the next day, and he has the upgrades, but I'm a base player again. Kinda sucks.

Suggestions on good offline co-op games anyone? I'm looking at Haze, and the first Rainbow 6. Anything else?

GT:Prologue, get some wheel time as well. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not 100% it has head to head either.

do not buy haze, it's crap on a stick!!!!!

cod: world at war has co-op but it dosen't count as playing the campaign to unlock zombie nazi mode

GT:Prologue blows... for now, wait for the real GT5

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is fun

rock band 2 i would get but if you don't care about forking $200 for the big box

little big planet would be a very good buy

the offline levels are nice and most online stuff sucks any way.

I am thinking of getting LBP this weekend??? and for once I agree with Jeff, Haze sucks

Marvel Alliancs Call of duty sound good.... is the cod co-op a campaign, or just random maps?

marvel is full 4 player coop, cod: world at war (not cod4) is campaign but not start to finish, you just pick a lvl and play it.
