High Beam and Trip Odometer

So I converted my '99 headlights to 01' headlights (Already had the '01 bumper and air dam). Looks great, works great except that I can not get the blue HB instrument panel indicator light to go on. I need it to work to pass inspection. I did use the original 99 wiring when I converted so I am thinking I am missing a connection somewhere. Also my trip odometer on my '99 resets itself every time I shut the car off. (Ok, I know gas prices have plummeted but I will not keep it running 24/7). Is there a fuse that controls this? Everything else in the instrument panel works perfectly including the regular odometer. Any ideas? Any and all help are appreciated!

How did you get it to pass last year??

Could it be a burned out bulb? Pull the gauge cluster and check it out.

All it needed was the high beam instrument panel light grounded, also I had the '99 lighting last year.

Nope, already tested and the bulb is good.
