Slow Computer

The old HP here in my office at the world headquarters seems to be running slower in 2009 that I recall it running in 2008. :confused:

Doesn't seem like it is cranking on hard drive more than it did before it just seems slower.

We haven't added any new software in at least 6 months. We have Microsoft OneCare on all the systems here and it appears to be doing it's job.

Any decent utilities for diagnosing the poor thing? I don't even know where to start to check it, and I'm not 100% sure it really has an issue.

I'm not in the mood to buy a new computer yet, we do plan to replace all the computers here at the world headquarters but I was hoping to wait until at least 3rd or 4th quarter 2009. ;)

Yep! Onecare does it every 2 weeks and I also did a defrag last night.

We had a Trojan.Vundo bug going around our office this week. My machine slowed down a bunch and started acting like it was running out of memory - not caching web pages and stuff.

The Malawarebyte fix here fixed it after it kept throwing Symantec for a loop.
