AFPR after stock FPR?
I have an extra fuel pressure regulator I'm not using. How bad of an idea would it be to install it in the return line with the stock regulator in place?
It seems that I wouldn't be able to lower the pressure from stock, but that's not really a problem. Anything else I'm missing?

oh yeah, that sounds like a great idea. That way it can regulate twice as much fuel, twice as fast!

If you have a need to keep your fuel pressure above stock then yes it will work. Otherwise its not doing anything, so why go through the trouble?

I'm sorry, my post sounded like I just wanted to throw parts on the car with no justification. What i meant by "I have an extra fpr" was that I didn't want to purchase one that replaced the stock fpr if this universal type I already have will work. It's just temporary anyway.
I'm trying to have a little fun with the stock 1.6 motor, test its limits if you will, with nitrous. I need to have a little control over fp to richen the leanest spot.

well, putting in a fuel pressure regulator is going to produce perfect AFRs every time. I have a spare 1.6 in the yard for when you blow that one up.

I assume you meant isn't going to produce perfect afrs everytime. I know that, I just want to tune out the leanest spot with the fpr. I do have an emanage that I wouldn't mind installing if the engine responds well enough to nitrous.
I'd like to replace it with a 1.8 when it goes, but do you have a 7" differential?
