Intro & Update on the 90'
Hey everyone,
I've been lurking on the board for quite some time and have had an interest in miatas and autocrossing. My name is Maan, and I've met some of you before at some of the autocrosses (previously 88 silver integra, currently a black G35).
A week ago I purchased a 1990 white miata from a fellow member on the board to build up as my fun time car. Anyways, I thought you guys and perhaps the previous owner would like to see what I've done so far and maybe this thread can be my little project progression thread.
The car is in good mechanical shape and the interior is almost mint. However, as with many of the white 90's the body has experienced lots of paint peeling and paint related issues. I started off by working on the body which fortunately is pretty straight.

Still in the initial stages.
I'm planning on giving the "$50 paintjob" idea a shot and see how it goes. So far so good. I'm going to go through the whole process on the trunk lid before I go on and do the whole car.
Can anyone direct me to an online service manual so I can figure out how to take off the rear panel and bumpers etc?
