OK - What can I do with this?

My cousin in OKC gave it to me. The engine makes funny noises.

It's basically a Taurus Continental. Four huskies fit in the back seat, and I hear that a Taurus SHO 24 valve motor and 5 speed will bolt right in too. ::Banana::

Push it off a cliff.

Cruise chicks at the Old Folks Home.

Burn it.

Saw the roof off, paint it white, put in a Cheetah interior, and slap on some bull horns.

How funny are the noises? Are we talking "ha ha" funny or "put it out of its misery" funny? There are people out there that want cheap transportation because a) they can't afford anything else or b) they need a "disposable" car for a teen driver. I happen to fit in the second category but I need a car that actually runs.

The funny noises started after he had a cheap mechanic do a head job on it. I am hoping it is a valvetrain problem. Anybody want to guess what could be screwed up from a head job that would make funny noises?

Man i already do this for all of the used 5-0 cars that are being driven by regular people...... I don't need a Lincoln doing that as well....

The Lincoln just passed smog inspection. Outside of a missing rear view mirror and a cooked A/C compressor, I can't find anything wrong with this car. The dogs love riding in the back seat. Looks like I got a free runner.
