Man, I have Poison Oak bad....
Been to the Dr.gota steroid shot and a series of oral steroids and have completed them.....still got it, and getting worse.
Anyone know any home cure for this curse???
I wallowed in this stuff as a kid and never got it, I am headed back to the Dr. Today.

I get Posion Ivey and Oak pretty bad. I scrub with this stuff after getting into it. They also have a topical ointment that helps also.

Poison Ivy and Poison Oak are alergic reactions. Not eveyone is effected and like other alergies they can develop over time.
I thought you just had to pee on it.

Thanks for the info, I am headed to the doc again for another steroid shot tomorrow, then it's back to the front.
Home remedy I learned as a kid, find broad leaf (weed) and make it in to a tea (boil it in water) and use the tea on the poison oak. It will help with the itching and dry the poison oak and ivy out in a couple of days.

Also for a temporary relieve, that a really hot bath. It makes it ich like HELL while you in the water, but it can give a few hours of comfort, enough to sleep for a while.
