'99 Sport Bilsteins on non-sport springs ?

I understand...you have to consider 'all things stock.'....and Sport springs are not legal for you, right? Bummer, those springs help alot. :D

Wrong Sparky! :wink: Shocks are one of the things that may be changed/upgraded and still allow the car to run in Stock class.

Why don't you just get the whole SPORT assembly and step out of those long SCCA lines. :)

What is the difference in the springs on a '99 Sport vs. '99 Standard?

Was there any difference in spring length?

Some of us still like the SCCA Sparky... although I'm not sure why we do... :P

Keith at FM seems to think there shouldn't be any problems. I ordered a set Friday night, so we'll find out for sure when they get here. :wink:

I'll chime in with some feedback from Mazda Motorsports.

When I was asking about the legality of the club sport package, Brian Burrows did say that the regular springs and the bilsteins were not compatible. I did not ask why because I had the hard-s springs.

The regular springs from the 2001 LS are longer than the hard-s springs.
