I put over 4000 miles on one with the cheapo 8" wheels. It worked just fine for me. AFAIK, it is still running around Houston with the new owner.
This is my old tire trailer that I used with the S2000. I sold it to Steve who was going to use it with his 350Z. But he sold the Z and 4 race tires fit in the Shelby.
I bought it from a S2000 guy who only used it a few times to haul a riding mower. He bought it new from H.F.
I had the tire mounts built and added the plastic box.
There is nothing wrong with it and it tows perfectly.
