New Car in the fleet
After being without a car now for some 4-5 weeks, my son Austin finally found a car. We now have some American Muscle in the house. It's the first time since 2001 that we've had an American car.
So let me introduce the newest member in the Gallup Fleet, Maggie. She's loaded with a Hemi with MDS (Multiple Displacement System where 4 cyl's shut down when cruising) Sunroof, and Boston Acoustic Premium sound with 6 disk CD AM/FM/Tape player. It's nice. I'm almost jealous. I love the power this car has.

Good looking Fiat! ::Good::

The Magnum is based on the "LX" platform. The LX platform is built in Ontario, Canada designed in America with parts borrowed from a Mercedes.
Not a whole lot is "made in the USA" anymore. Hell one of the comapines to claim "made int he USA" more than anyone is Harley and you won't find one that doesn't have Brakes, Suspension, Electronics, Fuel Injection/Carbs, ect. made in Japan.

i've always liked the Magnum, but when i was car shopping, i was looking for new cars with warranty, and it was pre "lifetime" warranty. price was higher than i was willing to pay for a dodge.

Great looking car. I have an affinity for the Magnums. Plus, station wagons have come a LONG WAY!!!!!:punchout:

I'm not gonna lie to ya... I've always loved the Magnum. I think it looks fierce and functional - and the Hemi is the icing on the cake, so enjoy! Keep us posted on the day-to-day factors... :rolleyes:

My little hometown PD just replaced their worn out Crown Vic police cars with a couple of Magnums. They carry cones, flares, SWAT gear, dogs, crime scene kits and everything else a two car department can afford in the back and can still chase down most miscreants. It almost made me want to take a pay cut and come out of retirement! The cars look really cool with a black and white paint job and blacked out wheels. They did however spend their years tire budget in 3 months.
