I run Eibachs on my Saturn and love'em. Still has a good ride but helped eliminate a lot of the body roll and bucking that the car had. Not to mention got the ass end down it was sitting like a cat in heat stock lol.
I plan to run a set on my Miata when I get to that point.
I have a set that came with my Tokico total suspension package. Just like the Illuminas you bought. Let me put my hands on them but $50 takes them.
I got a call from Tokico today:
5053F-P (front spring part number) - 243lb/in
5053R-P (rear spring part number) - 138lb/in
Incase anyone else was curious.
PM sent to Ted the Red...
bump
I hate to shit on this thread.
But the Tokico springs, from what I've heard, are worthless.
For $50 they might be suitable - but I would think of them as spare springs rather than main contenders.
The FM's, or ground control coilovers, etc, are where it's at.
I really don't know...
A lot of people say a lot of things... I don't know what to believe to be honest. They're stiffer than the eibachs, and those I heard mixed reviews.
The FM's are stiffest of all, and then people talk about how they ride better.
A lot of the eibach/tokico reviews were on stock shocks.... I don't know.
for $50 worth a shot just to see how they are... only shitty part is the install.
