Volvo C30

Has anyone here tried out one of these hatches? They've really caught my attention recently, and I'm curious as to your impressions.

They look pretty cool for sure.

I test-drove one. Not very dynamic or involving. It's a Volvo, I guess. I liked the MS3 much better.

Ben works for Volvo, so his choices are limited. :wink:

The C30 doesn't do much for me, but YMMV.

i asked a customer about hers, it caught my eye. She loved it, and i liked how it looked..... not volvo looking to me.

I have test driven one, and I would say that dynamically the GTI or speed 3 is better. However, Mr. Castillo is very quick in his car so I would certainly not say it is slow, just that he is very fast.

Also the interior of the C30 is very bland, and the materials are not up to par with the speed or GTI either.

i work for volvo ben is actually my regional rep. i just mounted up a set of 245-40-17 hoosiers on his. a normal one is pretty boring compared to my ms3 and almost 10k more. pedal placement kinda sucks and parts and expensive

I have a friend in St. Louis who loves his. He says it reminds of him of his old 00' miata. He test drove the ms 3 and bought the volvo.
