WTB - a used Class 1 Receiver Hitch

New here, so I hope this is the place to post something like this. If not, mods, move or remove at your discression.

I have a class 1 receiver hitch type bicycle carrier and would like to outfit the Miata with a hitch so we can haul the bikes with the top down.

Not interested in a new hitch, as I have one on the PT which we use to haul them now, so we are not desperate to outfit the Miata.

I'm just west of DFW, so could pick up in the area, and bring cash.

You don't say what year miata you have. If it's a 2001-2005 I saw this one listed on craigslist.....

Actually I'm not sure if this hitch would work for what you want or not. Since it's a hidden hitch it looks like it's got a curved adapter that hooks into the hitch when you want to tow a trailer. Since you're wanting to hook up a bike rack to it, I'm not sure if there's a curved adaptor that essentially extends the receiver hitch so that you could attach the bike rack or not.

No it won't.

I see what you mean. My PT's hitch is not hidden, and the tongue on the bike rack is straight.
