Damnnnnn!!!
Looks like he missed the yellow flag and tried to pass. Good lesson to watch the flags.
wait a tick.... there at flags at the track?
Lime Rock Park. Kenny is a friend of mine(another old fart!). He's a very good, safe driver it surprised me that he missed the yellow. I'll see what I can find......
C2 was cracked and Kenny is in a neck brace for six weeks. No surgery is required and he will race again. I will have a HAHN's before I race again!Quote:
Good news - Ken Payson

I visited with Ken P. today at the hospital in Springfield. He would like to pass along his thanks to everyone who took care of him after the incident yesterday. From flaggers to EMS to the ambulance driver to the friends who packed up the rig and transported it - thank you for handling everything just right.
To other drivers: he is certain that without his head and neck restraint - he would be dead.
His fishing trip to Alaska is postponed until next year.
Just curious in a situation like this, who pays for all the damage? That's one pricey crash.
What happened to the Elise Driver? Was he OK? Looks like the Miata was air born and the Elise stayed planted! Why the Elise spun and headed the wrong way?
Your car, you pay!
The only reason the Elise stayed planted is 'cause it's so low in front that Kenny launched up and over it. Lucky for the driver that he did, otherwise he could have lost his head.
Do NASCAR drivers pay for damage to other vehicles on the track? No.
You race what you bring and you pay for fixing your own car... even if someone else damages it.
