mild August

I usually dread August in Texas, but this one wasn't bad. Heck, it was downright enjoyable for a few days, today included. I know the weather here doesn't follow much of a logical pattern, but I'm still hoping this mild August leads into a cooler fall instead of another hot-till-Halloween year.

And I wish I could play hookey today.

Yeah, I drove my Jeep this morning just becasue the weather is so nice. Supposed to last most of the week too.

Yeah... looks like we're getting our June in August because we certainly got August in June...
