1.6 and 1.8 lifters the same?

I think they are, but wanted to be sure before I do anything. After 218k, I think my HLAs are starting to throw in the towel, and I just stumbled across a set of 1.6 lifters someone gave me a long time ago.

Anyone know for sure that the 1.6 and 1.8 lifters are the same?

According to NAPA yes. According to Mazda Parts no. Some sources say 90-94 are the same (1.6 and 1.8 in 94) some say different. That's probably why you haven't had many responses.
