I knew it! I should have told you I hated them. :banghead: :wink:Quote:

I'll be out of town this weekend, but I'm looking forward to a little head-to-head match at the 1st SCCA event next weekend.

I think you still get 1 freebie at the BMW events each year... Maybe the general will let us know when he gets back, having stomped them all to death with his stock Miata. Bwuhahahahaha.
Yes I know membership is required now :? but they put the fun back into autocrossing. I will not be at the 1st SCCA event.
Maybe someone else can make the BMW event.
Sorry to hear that, General. I was really looking forward to a chance to see how I stack up against "the man to beat" around here before heading down to Houston for the Tour. :wink:Quote:

I'm not planning to run any BMW events this year... I just don't want to have to be a member to run. They do put on a nice event, but I'd have to agree with altiain... the North Texas S2000 folks put on the best AX around.
Yea it's definatly not the SCCA that puts the fun in AutoX.

I agree on the fun factor, the SCCA is a beating. Too many cars.
Correction/addition: The SCCA is a major beating. ER is a minor beating... :lol:Quote:

Well guys I joined because I thought all of you would be doing their events like you did last year. I did not join last year as it was mid season. But the S2K group has done a good job of putting on events from what I hear.
So I don't have any feedback to provide about Kumho 710's except that they don't hydro plane on the trailer.
College Boy and I wimped out also.
I joined and Joe is a member also. I plan on running several events with them this year.
I'm a member, too... I'll be out there when it's not raining (and I'm not installing the 7 month over-due splash guards on my VW).
