If Greg has it as clean as he did for the twin ER events, then it should work fine, other than the tire wear for Hoosier users.
I wouldn't consider that marked in stone just yet. I was talking with Bob Neff at MSR yesterday, and he said they are still considering a couple of different sites for the Tour next year.
Pretty irresponsible of Topeka to post it if the site isn't firm. Good to see things are staying the same up there for the coming season.Quote:

Yeah, I always have to remember that SCCA is a traditional southern democracy. Controlled by the haves (RR) with bones thrown to the majority have nots (balance of members). If Rick the Body ever gets tired of Austin he could make a quick transition to Topeka.Quote:

any additional info on the Tour? Saw on another board folks booking rooms in MW for that weekend & Evo appears to be booking slots for an Advantage school that Friday.

Looks like they moved the tour up to the following weekend on 3/27. It was previously only a week later than the Dixie Tour.

A little clarity is in order...
Porsche club originally had Mar 27-28 booked for Mineral Wells. We worked out a swap deal with them, so they are now going to be on Mar 20-21, and the tour will be Mar 27-28.
The rumors of potential other sites were true, but didn't pan out. We'll keep working on them for regional events, but it's unlikely that we'll change sites away from Mineral Wells now.
