I hate flying through Orange County on my way to San Jose. I've done that 3 times and twice they lost my luggage. The only reason they didn't lose it the 3rd time is that I was standby on the direct flight. I didn't make it on the flight, but my luggage did.
So, I guess you are the lucky few that has your own jet! I am jealous! I am happy just to get on the cattle truck!Quote:

I love any type of flying, so nothing about airports or airplanes really bothers me... except the seats. I'm never flying AA or Delta again.

My best commercial flying experience was with a regional carrier... Frontier. New planes, a little more space and all that. It's been quite a while though.

+1 For Frontier. They are my airline of choice for personal travel. I usually get stuck with AA or US Air for business travel. The AA MD80 is what drove me to loose weight.
Meh, I wish most of my business travel was on MD80s, but most of the places I have to travel, the last leg of the trip is always on a 10-12 seat prop plane. :?

I liked riding in the Beachcraft Twin Bonanza and Cessna 421 that my father used to fly. You want a tight fit, try flying in a M20D Mooney to Oshkosh.
Both times I've been on a commercial turbo prop (too and front Portland Maine from Laguardia) I was nervous about them, and they ended being the smoothest plane rides I've been on. They fit several more people, but on the way out they did end up doing some balancing, since not enough passengers were booked in that single line of seats across the isle. It was 2 or 3 together, isle then 1 by itself on each row. It was strange looking to me.
Best commercial plane ride ever was on a Dehavilland -7 from Denver to Durango on a clear day, but I like to fly in anything.
My first flight was in one of these on my first day of Army flight school. I have never complained about anything since!
