I don't think she got to the DIP. In the third picture, it looks like she stopped at the DIP sign and the dip was just ahead.

I once had a lady shoot out of her driveway into the side of my car. she had been screaming at her kid, and didn't look before reversing into the street. went from stationary to into the side of my car in 1 second flat. there was nowhere for me to go, and really no time to react. pushed my car across the road, and almost into a parked car on the other side of the road. only redeeming factor was she was nice, and it was one of the most painless times dealing with an insurance company. she felt bad, and took care of everything quickly.
