Ok, so i'm sporting the 04 black leather seats in my 96..love the high back and they look great. (of course in the back of my mind i'm thinking about my legs frying after leaving the top down on a hot sunny day).
Just ran across an opportunity to even trade them for some 04 MazdaSpeed seats, cloth with the red insert. i think it would really set her off..i love what i have but the interior is all black and i'm think a little color would be good.
What do you think?
While I like the black leather on our '06, it's a matter of preference. But, as a hint (if you've not already done this), just flip the seat back forward when you park to keep the lower section in the shade when the top is down. But I'm guessing you already know that.
ok duh! I didn't even think of that!! These are the first leather seats i've had. Thanks for that bit of info!
I would swap. I have leather seats and always appreciate getting in my dad's car with nice comfy cloth. They hold you in better in the track too.

Also, for short trips away from my car, I pull my top up but don't latch it to keep the sun off the interior.
i was leaning toward the swap but just needed someone agreeing with me! lol Good idea with the top too..that will come in handy when picking up the kid, maybe he'll quit telling me "dad the new seats are hot!!"

I've had both and I prefer cloth because of the TX heat. However, if I could have both and swap the cloth in for the summer and use the leather in winter.... Maybe you should buy the MS seats and keep yours too.
I'd love to do that but I can't afford to drop anymore cash on her right now. I'd get a real earful if i have a "extra" pair of seats in the garage! :)Quote:
