A good size puddle has formed on my garage floor between the 2 front tires. Valvoline tech told me that the leak seems to be coming from a bolt near the water pump but he could not get to it to try to tighten.
I have an appointment next week at town north mazda, but i was wondering if anybody knows a reputable shop in Plano that would be able to take care of this. Thanks.

TrackDog is just a couple miles from TownNorth. They do nothing but Miatas and charge less than the dealership.

Sounds like a bad pump. May as well do the timing belt while you are in there. It's not much more labor then just doing the water pump.
i agree with this. plus if coolant is getting on the belt, it can cause premature wear on the belt.Quote:

Don't go to TDR. You will end up leaving with a supercharger, intercooler, headers, coilovers, and a big goofy smile on your face when you leave. At least that has been my experience. ;)
