My glovebox has a broken peg and the console lid is down to the last inch of hinge. Both bug the spousal unit :)

I have both the glove box and the center console entire console. I will need to check to see how good the lid is help up.

i have a black glove box and what do you mean by center console lid? are you speaking of the arm rest, if so i have one but it's for a 99-00 and different then a 01+
