I have a bunch of CDs converted to MP3. CDs are useless now and sitting in a box. Anyone interested in doing a CD swap on a Wednesday night?

Whaddaya got?
I can't fit all of my cds in my car. You lookin' for anything in particular?
I have to look and see what I've got. Thought we could bring disks out and swap out as desired. The list would be too long to type here.
I figure, once you have the CD converted to MP3 there is little need for the disks so I'm willing to let them go in trade to get new music.
Good point. I'm up for it so I'll dig up what I can and bring it out on Wed...
BTW, 99% of my jewel boxes are gone, and I'm missing lots of liner notes, so there ya go. Trader beware.
Just to play devil's advocate, even if you rip the cd (which the RIAA considers to kinda be bordering on not fair use), you are supposed to keep the original media.
Not that I haven't already done the same...
hmmm...if I could ever make it out to another one of these meets I'm always up for new music. I'd have to buy them from you though...I'm a cd hoarder.
I have some burned CD's that I never listen to anymore. ::Shrug::
Just finished taking group photos of my "available" discs in their cases. sammm gets first pick, of course. More emails comin' your way, bubba!
i miss my cd's :(
I had over 300 stolen at once a few years ago, and i've never replenished my cd collection
^I hear ya. I was an irresponsible lad once who had just turned 21 at the time, went to the beach with my entire CD collection in a 200 cd soft-case. Got wasted, left the CDs open to swap out for tunes all night. Woke up to a dead battery and sand in the case. The sand had destroyed every CD in the case and it was all my own stupit, drunk fault.
I had a rare album from one of the old Renniassance UK box sets in there that I had seen sell for $150 on ebay a few years ago...that one hurt :punchout:
Some I had ripped on my PC, but not all of them. I've been slowly building up my collection since then, but I can't justify buying very many CDs now though, my wife doesn't like the $60 trips to the CD shop very much.
my car was locked, cds were stowed under a seat. faceplate was removed. was parked in a decent part of town (across from the cresent)
bust out a window, stole ,my subs, amps, cd's, backgammon case, and my basketball shorts..... they also tried to rip the stereo- sans faceplate- out, making a mess of the dash
