Megasquirt NA
Anyone running Megasquirt or had experiences installing and tuning MS1 on NA-97? My setup will be JR 8psi supercharger with intercooler. Looking at Megasquirt I pcb v2.2, lead bending tool, MS slimulator v2.2, and MS wiring bundle. I plan to run it in parallel with stock injector. Is there anything else that I may need?
Thanks

Run the MSII with the V3 board. The CPU is faster and the V3 board gives you better flyback protection for the injector drivers. (I fried a V2.2 board because I did not run fly back protection) It also has larger fuel and timing tables for more accurate control. The stock injectors may not be able to keep up with the fuel demands of the SC.
You may want to consider this as well. Its a direct plug in to the factory harness.

You might PM Trey (MrBRG) as he is running an MS and might be able to answer some of your questions.

I'm really thinking about moving to a MS when I get around to going to the big boost kit on my SCed Miata. Got lots of studying to do.

HudsonHawk: Bc of ur input, I decided on MS I pcb v3 instead of v2.2 I would love the PNP, but my pocket aren't deep enough.
Driftdevil: Thanks, I'll PM him.

you can find used MSPNP's for $500. Keep an eye on miataturbo.net. I bought mine for $550 shipped back in December.

Anybody got MS slimulator in the DFW, that I can borrow when my MS I pcbv3 comes in?
-
I sent mine to the person who I sold my MS setup to in March. Sorry.
FYI I did not run it on a Miata. It was on the old CJ-5 I used to own. But the principles are the same.

You guys need to get on the MS3 bandwagon. I'm about to join.

I'll take your old set up then... :)
