Not sure if anyone else bothers with drag racing, but the final Drag-n-Brag of the summer is this friday night at TMS, and I'm going to give it a try. I think its $20 to race, $7 to spectate. After dark, so not a million degrees.

Good luck! I'll try and listen for your run on The Ticket if I'm around the radio...
Post timeslips!

OK, so quick question:
Should I run my sticky 615K 255's that weigh 43 lbs each, or my older RE01R 225's that weigh 39 lbs each, and are slightly shorter profile?
Either going to be better to keep you from having to shift at the end of the 8th?
not sure. what's a likely speed to hit? 225's will require earlier shifts, but should accelerate a bit better, if they hook up ok.
I might make it tonight.
I could go out there or install brake ducts.
Mmmmm...
What do you need to wear to run?
Helmet, long pants, sleeves...?
I think all u need is a helment, and they even have rentals there. No long sleeves or any of that stuff.
2nd place in Tuner class. Lost to a damn S2K. Won 3 out of 4 races.
According to Dynolicious, 9.221 @ 77mph in what is claimed to be a 1/8 mile. no timeslips given at the Drag-n-Brag.
Almost... the S2K was Lee Maschman. :)
