My 91 miata is trying to talk to me. But I cannot understand her. She blinks the word airbag six times then repeats again. I thought she was Telling me I am an airbag and she being jealous of my wife. I know I have made promises to her and probably should spend more time with her. I tried to explain ..... To no avail, she just keeps constantly blinking AIRBAG. I tried soft music, top down, new oil change and a wax job. :0(
What should I do.

It's usually a blue box under the dash that needs to be replaced. It's way up there near the steering column and a bear to get to. From what I understand it's a lot cheaper to get one for a Ford Taurus. I ve never heard of blinking 6 times though, it's usually 4 and then that turns into 10.
my light has been flashing for almost a year and i just ignore it. i have a blue box off my 99. can i just pull the dash and install the one i have laying around?
That damn light drives me crazy, and I always see that getting to the box is a PITA... but on what scale? I either A) think my blinker is stuck on and look for it or B) finally learn to ignore it for this drive, only to find a few minutes later than I've been driving with my damn blinker on!
Black electrical tape works nicely. That is how who I bought my Chevy truck from fixed the ABS light.
She's telling you that she doesn't like the stock wheel with an airbag and she wants you to buy her a Momo. You should probably buy her one. ;)
