can't be. I guess it is magnetic and the screws hold on the magnets.
I had seen one applied in this very fashion once before, and thought WTF? I believe they just slip on the lip of the panel and use magnets to secure the top, but never got close to tell. I would hope that is the case anyways...
There's a large magnet back there they didn't screw into the trunk lid. And the newer Saturns (pretty much anything made after the VUE and ION series) has metal body panels.
