Newb
Hi everyone, I'm new to the site. I'm currently in Houston, but will be relocating to Dallas later this month for work (Carrollton). Some people might recognize me as whizbang18t on m.net/cr.net. Not new to cars or forced induction, but I can't really do anything drastic for the moment until I get a second car ... not to mention I haven't really defined a path for it. I used to autoX years ago w/ a MK4 VW and also co-drove my buddy's 4agze swapped AE86. I picked up my '99 last year, and I really enjoy it. Actually, the first manual car I learned to drive was an NA. Anyways, I look forward to meeting some new peeps in the future. :D

Sweet car! (but it's missing the nose lol) (M)
Can't wait to see it in person!

Thanks! I didn't remove it intentionally. Funny story ... I was at a friend's house helping him replace the headunit in his Toyota Highlander in the garage. The HU only comes out if you remove the entire surrounding console. However, the gear selector in the "P" position does not permit enough clearance to remove the console. So you can kinda guess what happened next ... I move it to "N", and proceeded to remove the console. As I was tugging, I didn't notice the car *slowly* rolling backwards. It didn't help that I was in the passenger seat while I was doing this, nor did I realize the e-brake was actually an e-brake pedal. hahhhaah :( Fortunately, the impact wasn't hard enough to cause any significant damage. I was more worried that my buddy's car would be damaged (which it wasn't).
