Anyone know anything about Texas bugs?

I keep noticing these little clusters of what I can only assume will become some odd Texas poisonous insect. I usually just wipe them off the house with my finger then hose off, but I'd like to know just what I am killing...and what will grow to be a future problem should I miss a cluster or two.

I have never seen egg groups like this before, so I imagine it's a Texas thing.

These are the two main spots I saw just now. Note the one is flatter and "drier" looking; the other is "wet" and 3D looking - like more protected with saliva or some kind of glue fluid nonsense.

On the bottom edge of the siding, just above the two previous spots. This one looks too old and dried out to hatch, but I really don't know.

Anybody know what the crap these things are?

And yes, I know the trim paint could use a freshening up. And I need to weedwhack, but the yard is still soaking wet. And crabgrass is there, yes..I can't tell you how many hours I've spent outside pulling it up by hand at night ::Rant::

Well we have a pest control contract, but I always forget to ask them about these stupid things. There usually are only 2 or 3 little clusters, and only on the one wall (same one pictured), so I just kill them and forget about it for a month or so till I see another group. Of course they only show up after the pest people come - they were just here earlier this month. I am calling now, but if they don't cover whatever they are, I will give the general a call.

Besides the occasional wolf spider and the sole black widow I found in the backyard, I haven't seen any evidence of any insects kicking around - and I go in the attic from time to time.

Get some geckos, they will eat the spiders.:) Geckos showed up at my house a couple of years ago and the spider population has decreased significantly! The only problem is that my daughter is afraid of the geckos, so I kill a few occasionally.

I brought a few anoles with me in the box truck from Florida (shhhhh) to the apartment in Euless. I know I saw one in a box when we moved out to Haslet. But I haven't seen it running about in quite some time. I'm guessing it's long dead :( I actually have seen some kind of lizards scrambling around at times, but tiny and dark brown, so definitely not one of my Florida friends.

The last wolf spider I saw would put up quite a fight...it was Texas-sized for sure. Good thinking though!-

For anyone that cares, pest guy just said they are spider eggs. He sprayed the entire exterior of the house, then under the Miata since they have developed quite the hangout under there (that's as good a reason to make it run again as I need).

Spider eggs ? Wow, that would not have been among my guesses. Did he say what kind of spiders do this instead of egg sacks? I'd imagine those little tiny suckers that we all swallow in our sleep and don't realize it.

He didn't say, no. He did say it was "common" though. I said the same thing about the eggs not being in much larger sacks, like the ones under the car in the garage, hoping to lead him into telling me what kind of spider, but no love. Then our puppy that just had surgery yesterday came running out, so I didn't have a chance to flat out ask him.

I guess the northside spiders like big sacks for their children, and the southside spiders like tiny little single eggs in piles of spit. I just hope I don't have a turf war going on..
