Wow! That's what I'd call violent precision.
That looks like a lot of fun.
Must be running Hoosiers. ;)
saw them racing years ago, they have mad grip
How would you like to be a corner worker there? Haha
those guys are complete and total nut jobs. how do i score i a ride in one?
I want one! Looks like it drives like a miata lol
Cool vid, i didn't know boats could turn like that. lol.
How many Gs do they pull?
And to know that they can run in just a couple feet of water... epic!
so that's why you need a roll bar on a boat, they wreck on land more then in the water

You can get a slightly more sane ride from the same drivers that race these events by taking a Jet boat tour of the Rogue River in Oregon. It all depends on the hull design. Most true ski boats can truly turn on a dime at high speeds. When I was a stupid kid, I would take my Dad's boat and head almost head on toward a buoy at 45 mph and flip the wheel at the last second. If I did it perfect, it would look like a Ken Block video, with the boat pushing around the buoy and the buoy never more than 1 foot from the boat. Flip the wheel back, and it was point and shoot.
If I ever make it to New Zealand, this is on the top of my list:

That looks awesome.
Done the Shotover Jet, pretty fun and the drivers were very impressive!
The had to have over 250 hrs of river time before they had passengers.
i've done jet ski runs in the keys that are almost as nuts, you go in land into the high grass swamp area, get into some water ways set up like a hill country run with out the up and down hill.
No chalked lines no care.
So why don't the competitive jet boats have a taller more rounded hoop to help prevent turtles. Do they have on-board oxygen?
