Slave cylinder O'Reilly's

Funny, I drive the 91 all over north Texas last weekend and tell my :queen: I like it better than her 99. So she decides to take it down to the store and calls me saying the clutch is all messed up and it keeps going even with the clutch down, etc...

Sure enough, the slave cylinder is leaking so I run down to O'Reilly's and pick one up for $20 with a lifetime warranty. ::Banana::

Install was easy and extremely greasy, just got to bleed it now but don't think the old back is up to any more trips under the Miata today.

Question: If I did want to go ahead and bleed it myself, could I use one of these big horse size syringes I've got and draw fluid down through the bleeder valve?

Yep. A while back I bled my clutch with a MityVac - basically the same thing. IMO it works better than pumping the pedal.

And you can do it by yourself.

Great, I'll try it out and if everything goes right, I'll try to make it out to Keller's tonight.

Still can't get over the fact it was only $20.
