Maybe this is old news (sorry if it is), but this short video really puts perspective on the relative speed between one of us on the track and an F1 car. The difference is so astonishing, that I'm not sure I believe it...

yet f1 is as boring as competitive sowing. i rather watch a GT race.
The GT series that have been on lately (late at night) are awesome! Nothing like seeing Ford Gts, Maserrattis, Lambos, GT-Rs, Aston-Martins, and the Vettes going at it without having to be "Gentlemen".
DTM is pretty good, too, for a 2-marque series. But I still think BTCC is the best...
