Getting ready to take the plunge. Who has one and which one do you have?
Back in December we got the Sony you recommended.
It has been working great but my daughter tends to use the Wi-Fi part for Netflix more than the blue ray.
PS3 works out well for me.
I bought the Sony S570 at Xmas - Mrs WRX74 and I love it. I just need more bandwidth!
ps3
I bought the Sony S370 (no wifi) for $85 at Best Buy before Christmas. Same as the S570, but no wifi. It works well just playing blue rays, but can also do the Net Flix if you physically connect it to your network.
PS3... it only does everything. ::Banana::
Laptop & uTorrent. Pure TCB.
i have a couple of the panasonic ones which have been great. Their wifi is pretty good too..
Fvck Sony with a rusty brick. Please buy anything but a PS3.
Wow...angry much? :)
I love my S*** PS*
I've had Sony. It worked fine until it was time to update the firmware. It rejected the Sony factory disc and now only plays regular. I replaced the Sony with a Samsung and have had absolutely no problems.
Samsung is always great, too. Any Blu-Ray player should get the job done, now that the new generations are wifi compatible it seems like the previous models are dirt cheap.
How about a HD-DVD / Betamax combo recorder.

Ha. My boss bought an HD DVD player when they went under and stocked up on HD DVD's.
Blu rays have 5X memory capacity as a standard DVD while HD DVD only had 3X. Otherwise all other specs were almost identical.
But when Sony and Philips are behind Blu Ray and Toshiba is backing HD DVD, who do you think is gonna win out? lol
PS3 has still proven to be one of the best out there. It's the quickest, and has compatibility with every disc because it's constantly updated.
With that being said, I'm selling my slim 120GB PS3, 2 months old. I have 2 wireless controllers with it and COD Black Ops, wanting to get $275. Still have the sales receipt and everything, plus 10 Blu-Ray movies I can throw in for extra of course.
I own an HD-DVD (Toshiba) player and some movies. Still plays regular DVD's and CD's too.
