I have one for a 1.6. I think it is driver's side, but I will check when I get home. I wonder if they are the same for a 1.8?
As long as it's an na fan they are the same.
I checked. I do not have mine, anymore. Sorry.
No prob. Thanks for looking.
Still looking for one.
On the NBs, the fan blade, fan motor, and mount/shroud can be separated. Is it the same on an NA? If so, what part is bad?
The motor is bad on mine. So I need a na fan to replace it.
I had a hard time finding a used fan a couple of years ago for my 1990 NA, and ended up buying just a new motor. I believe the aftermarket motor was $96 shipped. What I found interesting was that it shipped from TN, but it was made in Carrollton, TX! If you can't find a used one, you might consider buying the SPAL fans. My SPAL fans really keep my car cool in the excessive heat of summer (but they are louder than stock).
Also, I was told by Dr. Bob in College Station that you can modify the radiator fan blades to fit an A/C fan motor (more readily available), but I have not tried it. You might check the pointy board to see if someone has posted anything about doing that.
Jaime, I got one! Let me know when you're in Denton. Or i can bring it to work in Flower Mound.
Sweet chris! If you wNt bring it with ya to work and I can meet ya. What time do you leave school?
I'll have to bring both, I don't remember which one is which. I usually leave at 4:25. Basically 3040 and 2499.
I've got a good NB motor from a stripped fan removed from a warped mount, free to good home. I work in Addison, and will try to remember to stick it in the trunk tonight in case someone has a way to get it to you.
Thanks Stevan.
Chris- Shoot me a text when you get off as my office is at the Atrium at cross timbers and everett. I get off at 5 but am usually in the office by 4.
