Sounds like the new Hollis Hilton is a big improvement.
My dad did this race several years ago. He drove 1200 miles to get to the beginning of it, then drove the 5600 miles of the race, then drove 1200 miles home. He didn't do any of the track driving though. They were in an M62 01' miata. He loved it.
