I've shared the track with a "normal" 2011 GT3 RS -- lowly 3.8l engine -- and that thing was insanely quick. I can only imagine how much quicker the 4.0 would be...
I've ridden in a "lowly" 996 GT3 at MSR and was VERY impressed. So composed and FAST. It was like flying over the course. To contrast that, riding along in a GT-R was much more brutish. Still FAST, but it was like being strapped to an explosion.
I've also had the pleasure of driving the car in the picture a fair amount on the street. The engine note is heavenly. The new 4.0 looks awesome!
