Looking to get new shocks installed, 99 NB. Can someone help me ?
My NB has about 130,000 on what i believe is the original shocks, the rear passenger side is bottoming out for sure on some bumps in the road and i would like to replace them for a for comfortable and more solid feel for the car, my sister has an NB with 70,000 miles on it, its also a 99 and her car feels alot tighter and after driving her's i can tell my shocks are pretty much gone.
Can any one help me change these out?, or do it for a reasonable price ? I live in Allen, and should have all the tools to do it except the spring compressor, i have all wrenches, sockets, impacts, compressor, some specialty tools. ive actually engine swapped an NA miata, changed starters, belts,plugs and sensors in many different cars ect .. Im just not that strong on suspension aspects of cars, never changed struts/shocks out. ive changed tie rods out and rack and pinions but the cars were such out adjustment they needed to be aligned right after i did that.
Id love to do it, just don't want the car sitting for too long if i cant figure something out, i have another car but the Miata is my daily and is the only car i have with AC at the moment.
