TX Region SCCA Event #4 - July 10, 2011 - TMS Bus Lot

Next event: TX Region SCCA Solo Event #4 – Sunday, July 10^th at TMS.

Seems like it’s been forever since the last local SCCA event, but it’s just been just a month since Mineral Wells.

We’re back to Texas Motor Speedway Bus Lot for event #4 of the 2011 TX Region SCCA Solo Series. The “infamous” Jerrett Jan will be the course designer for the event. Once again, Jerrett has worked his magic for the Bus Lot site. It’s going to be warm so make sure you bring plenty of water, sunscreen & light food for the day. Start to hydrate with water the day before!! (No! NOT with beer & Margaritas, Terry!)

Sunday 7/10 Event Schedule:
7:30am - 8:30am....... Registration & Tech Inspection Open
8:00am - 9:00am....... Course open for walking
8:30am (approx.)....... Novice Walk Thru
9:00am (approx.)....... Mandatory Drivers Meeting
9:30am (approx.)....... 1st heat Drivers in Grid, 1st heat Workers on course, First Car Out!

The points race for the TX Region Solo series is heating up. Don’t let your competitors jump ahead of you by not attending!
Online registration closes Friday, July 8^th at 11:59 PM. Onsite "walk-up" registration is welcomed, but you can beat the line with registration online!

Credit cards CANNOT be accepted onsite. Cash or check ONLY.

$35 entry fee. Non-members are $10 extra for a SCCA weekend membership which can apply to a regular full membership!We're expecting 4 runs at this event.

Unless there's a major change today, it sounds like the construction on 114 hasn't taken it's toll on the Bus Lot yet!!

I'm new here, so I might be missing some knowledge on inside jokes and playful jabs....but what is so wrong with this course? The only thing that looks painful is that hard right after the start...
