Trunk Lid Lift Kit?

Does anyone have a Trunk Lid Lift Kit installed?

I'm toying with the idea of installing one of these since the spoiler on the back is too heavy for the trunk lid spring to reliably keep up.

Better than nothing but still doesn't "lift" it like I wish.

Anyone know where I can get a stiffer strut or a stronger trunk spring?

Yes, Mine works. I have no idea where it came from snice it came with the car.

When you order the spoiler kit from Mazda, even later as an add on it comes with heaver springs. I wonder if you can get them from the dealer? I would think so. They are the same for both years as I had a set I put on this weekend that came from our wrecked '99 and now they are on the '96 R Package. Works perfect.

They didn't have anything listed in the parts books but the normal springs for an NA and for an NB...

I guess it's off to Moss Motors for me... speaking of which... I see that they now carry the Track Dog Racing Air Splitters! :D
