Does that mean it's a Corvair friendly event?
Axle droop limiting devices are mandatory.
Is that a young Neal Bellamy with muttonchops behind the wheel?
I was thinking Fair Park!
Gaithersburg, Maryland, July 23, 1972
I have no clue where, or when, the picture was made but the helmet must have been about Snell 1965. Unless the driver is bald his helmet can't be more than 5/8" thick.
The owner of the photo said it was Montgomery Mall, Bethesda, MD.
Did Gerry Terranova (no affiliation with the TV show) take that pic? I know he lived in the DC area back when Hollywood Henderson was all the go.
The photo has a credit at the bottom. It was taken in 1972 so I think Gerry was a little kid at the time.
There will be no Ralph Nader corners.Quote:

Looks like a good course, I'm in.
Is the back stretch the same as the last NTAXS event?
The backstretch is borrowed directly from JRJs course, with permission. The rest of the course is different, but uses some of the same lines since they worked well and were clean. I tried to go a different direction than my last PMS design, which was designed to be tricky, and this should be so simple that it's a different kind of challenge. The only visually challenging element should be the Chicago Box at the end.
There is a decent chance that the exact number of cones in a few of the slaloms may change once it is setup and safety takes a look.
One week left.
