Drove by Pennington field today and noticed something new! Not sure what they have in mind but it doesn't look good for Autocrossing. :(
Just a heads up to those that schedule events next year.

Three openings without gates but they can't be far behind. The new fenced area in front of the bus parking takes away another 25-30% of what we use for grid.
Looks like they are expanding the bus parking area. That's gonna suck for any event there, especially the football games.
Paddock just got less ped-friendly.

It should make for an interesting NTAXS Winter Autocross. Maybe have paddock on the normal AX lot and a cage match on this lot. Two go in, one come out.

I would love to join in this Penn bashing. Unfortunately, 1/2 the technical staff at my company are Penn graduates. If they discovered my derogatory comments I would be hurting like a schoolboy in the Penn locker room showers.
