BTW. There was a guy at this last SCCA event selling a tire trailer cheap! Anyone remember who had it for sale???? 8)
Mark G. asked someone about it on the way out yesterday. I think the owner's name was/is Curt Janish or something like that.Quote:

I say go for the non-hidden. It allows you to use the hitch for other standard accessories like bike racks.
I have a Da'Lan Hidden Hitch for my '99, and I love it! Check out page 4 of my CarDomain site, and you'll see just how hidden that hitch is. If you don't have the ball on (or in my case, the TireTail), you simply cannot see that hitch at all... even if you are eyelevel with the bumper. That picture looks like I've stuck the TireTail directly into my muffler!
So you asked for Pros and Cons:
You can order it from iZoom Graphics. Like I said, I really like mine.
- Pros
- Hidden
- 4 bolt install (not hard, but I had U-Haul install it)
- Comes with the hitch extension (thing you screw the ball into)
- Did I mention hidden?
Cons
- Won't work with bike mounts (altiain makes a good point)
- Not available locally (that I know of)
- Expensive? It runs a little over $200
Kurt Janish, CP driver extradornaire, and proprietor of Janco Products in Wiley has the trailer for sale. Not sure what he was asking for it, but you can call him at: 972 442 6558.
Thanks, I've left a message.Quote:
