Thinking about a Da'Lan Hidden Hitch for white. Pros and Cons over other hitches.

The Da'Lan I have is not a hidden style but I did score it used! :cheers:

BTW. There was a guy at this last SCCA event selling a tire trailer cheap! Anyone remember who had it for sale???? 8)

I saw it. Thats what made me start tinking about buying one. $$$$$$$$$$ is not in the racing budget right now though. Unless POS sells me his for, say, 50 bucks :D :shock: (like that will ever happen)

I have a non-hidden Delan on my '99 Sport.

I say go for the non-hidden. It allows you to use the hitch for other standard accessories like bike racks.

I have a Da'Lan Hidden Hitch for my '99, and I love it! Check out page 4 of my CarDomain site, and you'll see just how hidden that hitch is. If you don't have the ball on (or in my case, the TireTail), you simply cannot see that hitch at all... even if you are eyelevel with the bumper. That picture looks like I've stuck the TireTail directly into my muffler! :lol:

So you asked for Pros and Cons:
- Pros
  - Hidden
  - 4 bolt install (not hard, but I had U-Haul install it)
  - Comes with the hitch extension (thing you screw the ball into)
  - Did I mention hidden?
  
  Cons
  - Won't work with bike mounts (altiain makes a good point)
  - Not available locally (that I know of)
  - Expensive? It runs a little over $200
You can order it from iZoom Graphics. Like I said, I really like mine.
