Considering getting rid of my TDI.

2010 Golf TDI - 23,000 Miles as of 1/20 asking $19300
Excellent condition - no dings/dents etc.
Reflex Silver/4 door
DSG
sunroof
9 months remaining on factory warranty
one chip in windshield that was repaired, but is still visible

PM if interested and I can provide pics or more info. Not many for sale in this area, so its difficult to get a good baseline on asking price. CPO'ed VW are asking $22k+ for similar condition so make an offer.

Quick question, what did this car go for new? I bought my wife a 2010 Jetta TDI Cup with DSG and it was like $24k. Am I missing something?

IIRC the Golf retailed for more than the Jetta - the Golf and the JSW wagon were built in Germany whereas Jetta is Mexico.

I based my starting price on what the dealerships are asking. For whatever reason Golf TDI's are apparently holding value well. Nadaguides rates it at 23k for clean retail

TDI's definitley hold their value well, and for good reason in the VW's.

Had no idea they were German. I thought they were all outsourced to Mexico. I wasn't trying to trash the price or anything.
