Tire Shop?
Does anyone know of or have a tire shop in the Allen/Plano/McKinney/Richardson area that can mount and balance wheels/tires without scratching/dinging up my wheels? I know we have PTP, and also Auto Scope, but shops I can't make it to. PTP is about an hour+ drive from where I stay, and is only open on weekdays, when I work. And Auto Scope wants $50 per wheel, which is just more than Im looking to spend. So, if you know of a place, let me know!

The DT on Ohio Rd will do a good job. Just ask for Todd Eady and let him know he was recommended by the dfwmiata folks. Also, NCEunos works at the Spring Creek/75 location.

Pretty much every tire shop can mount normal sized wheels and tires without scratching them.

The last time I had brand new wheels needing tire mounting, 2 shops turned me away. One said flat out no and the second told me that they would only do the job if I agreed to not hold them responsible for any damage.

Yeah, Ive heard about it too many times. Shops having to pay for the customers refinishing job because they scratch/gauge the wheels during mounting. Im trying to avoid this as best as possible. The wheels are some SSR's that I just got partially refinished, and don't want that work to go to waste. Thanks, OZMDD. I didn't think a Discount Tire would be the place to go, but if you say they do quality work, ill give em a call.
