flyin miata's setup is pretty much idiot proof. they have done there homework. brp is now on the scene, there is the jackson racing supercharger, and the greddy turbo kits as well, but they yield around 150whp out of the box. there is going to be tweeking involved though in tuning etc...
I think that the BRP M62 kit is really freaking cool. I ran an m45 for four years and it was a plug and play type of upgrade, very little tinkering nessissary. The M62 has lots of headroom for later growth, and at 180 rwhp you wont have to jick with a stand alone ecu.

From what I have read, I guess the best avenue for me is the BRP M62.
