FS: 2001 VW Golf TDI $6000
Selling my 2 door golf. It's been a great car for the last year, but I don't need two golfs.
2001 Volkswagen Golf GL TDI
382,000 miles
Car purchased from Digisport in July 2011. All maintenance and work performed by Digisport Performance in Frisco, TX
Timing belt and water pump replaced with 100k belt at 333K.
Race pipe, intake manifold cleaning, intercooler cleaning at 333K
Struts/shocks replaced with Bilstein TC Sports at 355k
Tires were replaced july 2011 with 60-70% tread left.
Brakes replaced july 2011.
Small radiator fan replaced July 2011
Trailer hitch added september 2011.
Vacuum hoses replaced with silicon and viton september 2011.
5 speed swap and VR6 clutch and single mass flywheel done in January 2012 at 366k
Air filter, Fuel filter, Oil and oil filter,Large radiator fan and fan control module replaced at the beginning of july 2012
AC system evacuated and recharged by Digisport on 7/13/12
Glow plug harness replaced 8/2/12
Currently has a Malone stage 2.5 tune. Tuned for larger injector nozzles. Tune can be removed if necessary.
Car has some exterior scratches on the rear bumper. The latch on the Drivers side rear seat doesn't work to lower it down. Once I was able to get it free and I never put it all the way back into place so it can be lowered with ease.
Car runs and drives great! Regularly averaged 44mpg in the city and 47-50mpg on the highway. Oil changed every 10,000 miles. AC is very cold!
